A recall may apply only to specific lots or sizes. Compare the notice with your product’s brand, name, UPC/barcode, lot or batch number, package size, and best-by or use-by date. Follow the recall notice’s instructions for the affected product.
If your product matches a recall, stop using or consuming it. Keep it separate so someone else does not use it, and follow the notice’s return or disposal directions. Keep a photograph of the label and proof of purchase when possible.
